EXPERIMENTAL RISOGRAPHY BOOK
ABOUT
During February - April 2019, Skraban became a part of a small team of students from the Faculty of Art & Creative Industries, University of Sunderland (UoS) working on a collaborative project – PRESS RELEASE. This project was lead by Foundation Press, UoS and took place at the National Glass Centre, Sunderland. It was focused on learning the process of using the risography printing technique and self-publishing. While learning how to design and print a book, workshops by visiting artists such as Shy Bairns or Jimmy Turrell were also super helpful and initial to the final success of the work. Weeks of designing, laying out, producing test prints and mock-ups resulted in participating at the book fair at the Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art in Newcastle and running a collaborative workshop open to public at the same time.
